TWINS! My doctor's appointment on November 22nd, surprised all present (Mom, Dad, Grandma and MiMi). I couldn't believe what the doctor had just told us. It all started with a normal ultrasound and then I will never forget the words my doctor uttered "Oh my goodness, there's one, two...." I thought to myself STOP COUNTING! There it was, seen through my own eyes....2 little peanuts! What the heck was I supposed to do now. No one is ever ready for this, but I guess now was the time to get ready.
Dominic and Delaney were born on May 29th, 2012 at 9:01 and 9:02 AM. They were born 8 weeks early after my 4 day stay in the hospital. Dominic weight 5lbs 8oz and Delaney weighed 4lbs 6oz and both were 18 inches long. They spent 18 days in the NICU and my friend Megan Pinheiro said it best when she said "He has taught me so many things already.... patience, love, strength and did I mention love!" These babies, while in the NICU taught me to have strength that I never thought possible. Sure, there were hard times and times that I thought I just couldn't leave without them, then there were times when I knew they are were in the best hands possible. I never realized how hard it would be to drive away from the hospital for those 18 days with out my beautiful new babies. But I had a 3 year old home that wanted just as much attention, and I had to make sure he got it.
Dominic and Delaney have grown up fast and you would never have known there were born premature. They still continue to teach me so much and I am thankful that they are beautiful happy babies. God never gives you anything you can't handle, and I thank Him everyday for giving me the three most beautiful children.

October 9th, 2010
Hector came up with the idea of singing to me during our first dance. He paid a tribute to Michael Jackson, and sang "The way you make me feel." It was such a surprise to our guests and some of our wedding party. It really got the party started and got most of our guests on the dance floor.
I know that it is so cliche to say that my wedding turned out amazing, and better than I could have expected. But in actuality, it did. I can't think of one single thing that went wrong, and if anyone knows of anything that went wrong, I hope they don't tell me. :)

How it all began....
I delivered Alec on July 26th, 2008 and things haven't been the same since. Alec was born 5 weeks early due to pre-eclampsia. He was 7lbs 2oz and 18 1/2 inches long. He also had Papa's dimples, which my mom noticed soon after he was born. I have never seen Hector jump out of his seat so fast to see them. I thought that I could never love another human being as much as I love this kid.
Alec has grown up way to fast, but thank goodness I have lots of pictures to remember each and every moment of it. Alec's sports themed first birthday was held at Grandma and Papo's house. He wont remember any of it, but I made sure it was perfect for him.
Alec's 2nd birthday was a little more low key. We again had it at Grandma and Papo's house and it just consisted of close friends and family. He won't remember anything about this birthday party either, but I again tried to make it perfect.
Around his 3rd birthday is when I found the craftiness hidden within. I threw the ultimate Spongebob Square Pants party. We invited everyone, and we all had a blast. We rented a community center to hold the extravaganza so I wouldn't have to clean my house.
We are now caught up on Alec, and all that he has been doing till now. Here's to the wedding of a lifetime...
